　Holiday Season 2006 at The Petite Gallery will feature an expanded selection of paintings by noted Delaware artist Tua Hayes, including:　 Sandy Point Light, houses of Montchanin and Pheasant Still Life.　 As seen in our gallery, her oils, watercolors & pastels are testimony to her talent & achievements.　　

Other gallery selections encompass plein air landscapes, coastal scenes and marine paintings by American, British and Danish artists; also on exhibit are　 figurative works by two American mid-20th Century artists.

Case goods suggestions for fine gifts:　Spode china including the perennial favorites Blue Clipper, Christmas Tree, Christmas Tree Grove and a rare acquisition of a few serving pieces of the treasured Tradewinds pattern.　　Artisan and 19th century jewelry along with interesting teapots, antique Majolica shells, and older hand colored engravings add to the selections.　

This year for the first time in southern Delaware, we are featuring strikingly handsome furniture handcrafted by Neshannock Woods, a fine Pennsylvania cabinet shop.　 The enchanting fan painted-pattern dowry chest, petite Chippendale mirrors,an exquisite hunt board of cherry with inlay trim of 100 year old woods, and a hanging corner cupboard with old glass are representative of the treasures now in the shop.

In the rug gallery, shoppers will find mat size Sahar gabbehs, Tibetans and 2-3 ft.square Romanian Antique Looms (at special prices)　 which make lovely gifts;easy to ship! New Armenian , Egyptian and Tibetan carpets grace our walls. Price friendly shipment of gabbehs for holiday purchase in our NEW BARGAIN ROOM!!!!!!!
