Teresa Galligan Defazio is back on board with JKLtd., as the manager of our shop on Front Street.  Her expertise and experience as director of prominent galleries in Philadelphia compliments her knowledge in fiber and textiles.  Teresa is a noted professional in the niche of Inuit Art.  Her background in Pennsylvania Landscapes School painters will further influence the mix of fine art that we will have in the shop.  Stop in for the small rugs, antique furniture, wonderful English porcelain with maritime or sea life themes or for smalls of any description...

THE SALE !!

Our annual inventory sale this year will feature every rug in the shops being sold for less than the price on the tag.  This year our very practical Turkish folk life (FISHIE) rugs will be included in the sale, as well as all accessories for the home.  New Moon™ Nepalese special custom order rugs will be given a discount.  Remember, any size rug will now be completed in 5 or 6 months for over size.

RUG NEWS

I have returned from selecting the most beautiful rugs from my Egyptian suppliers.  Truly, very different colors relative to the traditional palette- camels, gold, olives and eggplant, cocoa, and tone on tone.  Also new to the shop are Armenian rugs, very finely woven with different colors and designs.  This particular workshop production has employed hundreds of Armenians, benefiting the weavers and their communities.  If contemporary rug styles are your thing, we continue to stock Gabbehs in every size and description, New Moon™ and Stephanie Odegard rugs from Nepal who represent cutting edge in modern design, as well as many other types that lend to the more contemporary look.
